Train-A-Life...Batu Caves

5th of March 2006, we (The Mount Kinabalu Conquerors) went to Batu Caves for our training. The training is essential for our expedition to climb Mount Kinabalu in May. There are 272 stair-steps up to the top, steeply. On that training, I climbed up & down for 4 consecutive times, with 2 big-sized 1.5l mineral bottles. It’s heavy though…

2 weeks later on 18th of March 2006, I have made another trip to Batu Caves. I have broken a new record by climbing up & down for 8 consecutive times, but with 1 big-sized 1.5l mineral bottle. Actually I planned for 6 trips, but eventually something has motivated me to struggle for another 2 trips – when I saw a guy who came before me was still walking up & down… Actually that's what I call "Training". Therefore, I added another 2 rounds… Huh! Luckily no muscle pain :-)
25th of March 2006, I have made another great achievement by climbing up & down for 10 times at Batu Caves. I am hoping to maintain my level of stamina in order to climb the South-East Asia’s tallest mountain in May...
From there, sometimes we may have pampered ourselves so much until we have restricted our capability to go beyond our limit. If we harsh to ourselves, we might build up our resilience. That is the key to be a ‘Better Man’
However, of course not all the time, sometimes we also must reward ourselves if we have attained great achievement… Therefore, due to my great achievement at Batu Caves, I have rewarded myself with 2 bowls of tasty beef noodle on Sunday at Jalan Hang Tuah, KL… Yummy!!!
